Interactive installation. I repeat you, you repeat meGraduation work, Gerrit Rietveld Academie AmsterdamBy Eva Lute. Special thanks to Kees AanfjesInteractive digital installation6 min.Camera, two beamers, red lights, Arduino, spots, puch buttonThe fact that our emotions leak from all sides of our bodies makes us human. We are built to connect with the people around us. Your position usually finds its meaning in the relationship with the other. But why is loneliness becoming an increasingly discussed topic? At a time when cameras have come to play a major role, fear arises. Fear of each other. It looks like cameras have been given the power to tear us apart.I asked myself: how can I change the function of the camera so that it leads to vulnerability and solidarity? The camera asked me questions in return: What happens when I look at another person through a medium? Where do we meet? Show less

Installation and performances K.E.L.T. Bed performance, video, color, 2,5 hours Rooftop performance video, color, 49 min. Meditation performance video, color, 19 min. K.E.L. T. is the name under which Eva Lute and Kripa Tuladar perform performances. The installation that you see in front of you is a multimedia installation in which Eva Lute and Kripa Tuladar show the performances through their eyes and play with the movements of the visitors. The collaboration between Eva Lute and Kripa Tuladar started with the common interest; how do people move in the public space? Eva Lute and Kripa Tuladar plunged into the moment after the earthquake of April 25, 2015 11 :56:26 and have taken as the starting point the open spaces where people went after this situation, what was inside became outside. The yellow square symbolizes these open spaces without walls and has become a red line in the work of K.E.L. T.In the performances, Eva Lute and Kripa Tuladar undergo the consequences of an open space and try to make visible what is not immediately visible. "We went through chaos and ended with silence." Can i call you back boy, I have something to say
-
Nov 2019 - Nov 2019
I called out to the guys hanging out at my work. How dare you ruin my art piece!!?What if you as a maker have taken the freedom to change something in a public space with your work, should this public space also have the freedom to change this work? With three pieces of fabric, I changed the bicycle tunnel of the Parnassiaweg. There was tapping and playing. As a maker, what conversation do you have with the environment, and how does the untouchable image of the artwork work in public space? Can I call you back boy? I have something to say! Show less
