Eva's creativity and compassionate nature shines bright in her theater programming with Hyde Square Task Force. This is evident in the innovative curricula she develops, the engaging and interactive theater sessions she facilitates, and the way youth continuously feel comfortable and safe sharing their feelings, personal experiences and stories, or their new ideas for programming with her. While she is a positive, trustworthy adult figure for youth, she is also a persistent, productive professional, and an extraordinary coworker who brings value to every team she is part of. She is someone who will go out of her way to provide encouragement and follow up with your progress as you take on any project or task. Part of the reason staff enjoy working at HSTF is largely due to its collaborative, supportive work environment, and Eva is the embodiment of this culture. For example, in addition to her commitment to her theater programming, she volunteers to serve on the optional Women Engaged in Planning Activities (WEPA) committee at HSTF, and has helped designed entertaining and successful community building activities and events for staff! Eva is an enthusiastic, natural leader whose approachable and vibrant personality make her a joy to work with. I have no doubt that she is making the world a better and kinder place through the youth that she serves and the people that she inspires and leads, and I wholeheartedly recommend Eva for any group considering her candidacy.
