Our mission: stimulate people to broaden their horizon through volunteering in (international) projects. I have a seat in the board to align SIW's vision with the European funded projects and to spot opportunities for our organisation. I also have a coordinative role in enabling Dutch volunteers to go abroad with the European funding programme. I supervise, coach and train my team of mentors, actively seek and maintain partnerships with international project organisations, am the official contact person for the NJi (Dutch Youth institute), and am responsible for the European funding application for our projects here in the Netherlands.

Full time employment as a broker and full management of the office including the rental department, consisting of three employees. Where necessary, improvement of the workflow, standardizing and problem solution. Leading the morning meetings. All responsibilities a broker has: planning, viewing, costumer contact, contact with business professionals, assistance and advice, negotiating, exposure, assessment and legal matters. Full time employment as a rental intermediary. The first 2 months consisted of training and getting acquainted with the work. Responsibilities during this period where mainly administrative, such as answering phone and e-mail, online exposure, recruitment of both properties and searchers. The work extended after these two month period into the field: planning, assistance and advice, viewings, assessments, making contracts and home photography combined with the descriptions and exposure for better results. A promotion after 6 months as the location coach meant responsibility for the targets, attending intensive training regarding legal matters and business improvement. New matters and knowledge had to be explained to co-workers and implemented it into the daily work: updating rental contracts, handling legal issues concerning both tenants and home owners, dealing with the Rent Assessment Committee, etc. As a coach it was expected to attend the monthly business meeting with the three other location coaches of Maxx.
