In this project along with Dr. Anna Bigas and Dr. Cristina Ruiz I studied cell membrane proteins in early hematopoietic stem cells as biomarkers of leukemia using immunohistological techniques (cryoslicing, immunostaining and fluorescent mycroscopy).   Erasmus traineeship scholarship during my undergradute studies. Under the supervision of Dr. Emmanuel Busch from the Centre of Integrative Physiology (University of Edinburgh) I conducted a lifespan assay in Caenorhabditis elegans to see how different genetic mutations altering the GAP junction proteins in this animal model affected its lifespan duration and quality.
