Performed detailed geotechnical investigation which included drilling 285 borings and advancing 616 Cone Penetration Tests (CPTs). Monitored construction/placement of 10 m high earthwork surcharge mounds over shallow fills resting over residual native clay soils. Responsible for providing summaries of the grading progress to management staff of the project. Reviewed and edited the field geologic mapping of staff level field geologists. Also managed a team of 12 field technicians. The project entailed over 100 million cubic yards of earthwork which was moved in a seven year period.
