  Using a brief set-out by TimberKits, their current wooden puzzles designs were adapted to incorporate an audio component. This development helped to improve the user's sensory experience and will ideally boost their reputation within their market place in future years. The products featured themes from classic Disney films along with sound effects that encourage continuous play and engagement. Having access to materials and processes currently used by TimberKits resulted in the fabrication of functional prototypes which will be built upon further in the coming months until suitable for commercialisation.   As part of this competition I worked with one of the largest cleaning brands in Australia to develop and designed a concept that was “blue sky” and was unlike any of their current products. This design was placed as one of the top three competitors which entitled me to a prize and led to my product entering potential commercialisation. The company will notify me within 18 months of completion (December 2018) whether they will be undertaking this commercialisation.
