As part of being a deployment engineer I carry out projects to a high standard on a wide variety of IT equipment ranging from desktops and laptops. To others such as networking hardware, handsets and audio visual equipment. I am also the lead engineer on installing AV systems for conference rooms. This involves the use of various products like phones, cameras and speakers. We provide a variety of solutions such as the use of wireless systems which allow the incorporation of laptops and removes cables. I deal with a huge variety of network infrastructure and the installation of various kit. I have been involved with hundreds of projects and have dealt with remote support as well as support on site. I have a high knowledge of Windows 10 with laptops and desktops. This ranges from installing the OS, to troubleshooting issues for customers. I have also worked with a wide range of services like Office 365. I have dealt with assigning users specific licenses and mailboxes in exchange. I have also worked with directory services such Active Directory and Azure AD. I can provide a much greater detail list of the works I have completed while at my current employer. Work is based around a ticketing system so I am very efficient at logging time and actions to keep work up to date and informative for others. I have also worked on a service desk environment. Helping to troubleshoot problems and issues that are being logged by customers. I have had a large growth of knowledge and experience dealing with various types of hardware and software. Customer interaction and providing a high quality of service has become engrained in my work ethic and strive to provide every customer with the same experience. Attached is an example of a cable tidy I performed on a network cabinet located in the Crystal, London. This involved creating a period of downtime, an accurate patching schedule and making sure all equipment was back online. Show less

    • IT Technician Apprenticeship
      • Mar 2018 - Nov 2019

As part of my apprenticeship I worked full time at Hitchin Girls School. The school provided me with a great experience allowing me to work closely with IT equipment and systems such as Active Directory and Windows Servers. I was in charge of running the backup tapes for student data and providing quick troubleshooting/problem solving for teachers having IT related issues in classes. This role helped me to develop much more confidence in helping others and growing a high level of customer service. I was also in charge of project work such as helping to provide IT solutions in a brand new state of the art block of classrooms. I was in charge of mounting hardware to walls, cleaning and performing maintenance on computers and installing software. While working at the school I studied at Cambridge regional college for almost 2 years studying a high level IT college course. This involved a variety of courses on different subjects within IT such as Web based programming, Coding and Creating networks using Cisco Packet Tracer. We studied a broad basis of IT and gained an amazing knowledge of everything you need to know. Show less

I was a member of customer support. This involved all areas of work. I would be on tills serving customers helping them with their shopping. I would also be in aisles pulling forward stock and restocking shelves as well as helping customers in need with any queries. The store required a level of high work rate and attention to detail to make sure not only were shelves stocked and tidy but customers were happy and looked after. When I turned 18 I was then also given the job of working on the kiosk, serving tobacco, vape products and other necessities. I also worked on the weekends at the Co-op while working at the Hitchin Girls School before I started full time. Show less

I was promoted to a Supervisor after 6 months give or take at the store. This meant my responsibility and work load was increased. I could open and close the store. I was entrusted with banking which involved counting up the till and safe and also ordering more change when required. I also counted and ordered more stock. While I was on shift I would supervise my colleagues and help to keep things up to motion. I would organize jobs to do and make sure they were happy and motivated. As part of my college program at HRC Broxbourne I underwent a week of work experience. Interm IT happily accepted me again after my past work experience. I provided the same style of service to schools within Hertfordshire. I was entrusted with sorting and performing backup tapes to servers, providing on call service to classes and members of staff with problems. I also received praise again for my curiosity and my strive to get problems solved at the highest quality. As part of my college program at HRC Broxbourne I underwent a week of work experience.
