I had the privilege of working with Erik at Pechiney, Alcan and Bemis. I found his leadership extraordinary. He demonstrated forward thinking and an in-depth understanding of technology. He added considerable value to me and my team contributing to the overall information security strategy. I welcome the opportunity to work with Erik in the future.

In the years that Erik and I worked together at Rio Tinto, Alcan and Pechiney, he had an ability to present in a clear and concise manner the various options for proposed projects along with the expected financial impact for each. This allowed for easy reconciliation of any differences. However, his forecasting was predominately "right on the money".
