  A secondary school English and History teacher at Jindabyne Central School. I coached the schools Stage 3 debating team, resulting in a zone win in the 2016 Premiers Debating Challenge. By using ICT such as Google Classroom, Google Documents and Google Drive, I encouraged my students to become more independent learners who take responsibility for their own learning. In October 2016 I was asked by my Head Teacher to become a mentor for a trainee teacher who carried out her initial three-week teaching placement at the school. I was required to mentor and guide her in her practice as a teacher, in which she was successful and passed her placement commendably.
