I had the pleasure of managing Ethan during his internship at Spilo Worldwide during the summer of 2013 after his Freshman year at Emory. Ethan performed a number of marketing analyses during his internship as well as a presentation to senior leadership. Ethan displayed a strong quantitative orientation, able to not just pull the data, but "make a story" out of the numbers. He used pivot tables and Excel functions to manipulate the data, and then created a deck in Power Point. Ethan understood the big picture, and able to abstract his conclusions succinctly. Ethan also displayed a rare poise and presence for his age in his presentation. He was able to "command" the attention of the room, and presented his conclusions emphatically without "reading off the slides".
