Ethan is a true digital pro – the type of person you wish could lead all of your projects. He can assess a situation, analyze data and background information quickly and thoroughly, identify multiple solutions, then document a plan and its progress – all while building consensus and moving things along. He's a great team leader – he knows how to motivate people and keep them on task. He listens well and offers good advice. He's also great with clients – his calm, logical demeanor is very reassuring. Best of all, he's not just good at his job – he's a fun, smart person. I really enjoyed working with him.

Working with Ethan at Gaiam was a real pleasure. His balanced approach to managing the needs of the business vs. realistic timelines and budgets and working with in-house and remote teams to get a project done was always something to witness. In terms of how he interfaced with me, he was always very clear about what was needed from the creative department for his projects so there was very rarely any wasteful churn or revisions. And when he requested work, he never pushed too hard, and was always reasonable about what was possible, yet most impactful for the project. Rare, indeed! He's an excellent manager, always grounded and with a broad view of all the opposing factors he has to navigate to achieve success. An adept leader. I hope to get the chance to work with him again!
