Co-Founder

Co-founder of FYI (Free Yemen Initiative), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We seek to bring attention to the world's largest humanitarian crisis in Yemen. We work with our affiliated distribution team in Hajjah Governorate, Yemen to provide humanitarian relief to those in need. We have raised thousands of dollars in donations, helped hundreds of families, and have several partnerships including FBLA, Post Avenue Co., Yemen Hope and Relief, and King Soopers. Worked in one of the most competitive senate district in North Carolina. Duties revolved around crafting policy memos for the campaign team, conducting digital finance and donor research, increasing voter outreach, and improving our social media presence. Created policies that reflect the needs of rural North Carolinians. Recommendations included, but were not limited to, broadband expansion, increased funding for education, integration into a knowledge-based economy, raising the minimum wage, employment equity, and additional incentives for creating a business within a rural community.
