During my Summer of 2016 rotation with Eaton, my main project was the design process and early stage development of an Electronic Trip Unit Test Fixture. I utilized Design For Six Sigma tools to determine the objectives of the test fixture and to select the final design layout from a variety of concept ideas. I then employed Creo Parametric 2.0 to construct a detailed, dimensioned, and dynamic computerized draft of the test fixture. Finally, I constructed a prototype of the test fixture and provided documentation for use in future considerations of the project. I used JIRA and Agile Development to manage my time and document my work.
