  The role is responsible for booking talent for the event Otakon and managing the Guest and Industry Relations Division of Otakon. We booked over 50 guests this past years from the US, Canada, Korea, and Japan. Guests consisted musicians, composers, martial artists, animators, internet personalities, designers, fashion designers, actors, and game designers. The division itself was over 60 staff including interpreters, operations staff, and press corp.

  This required setting up an outdoor music and cultural festival on Thursday before Otakon. We worked with the city of Baltimore to set up the location. We provided musical talent from the US, Canada, and Japan. Music varied between folk, world, pop, hip hop, electronic, and rock. We also had other talent including professional sumo wrestlers, fashion designers, and comedians.
