  Guided large groups through nighttime kayak paddles to enjoy the incredible bioluminescence of Bellingham Bay. Customers rarely had experience on the water, so I was in charge of teaching them the basics of kayaking along with getting them comfortable with the idea of kayaking at night. During trips, I maintained the safety of the group while being an ambassador for the beauty of our oceans.

  Managed the rental program and made sure that all operations ran smoothly throughout the day. This included opening and closing the business, customer service, taking the safety boat out to check up on classes, and monitoring the status of rentees to make sure all parties were accounted for.
