I’ve had the pleasure of working with many staff members in the field of Student Engagement and Residential Living, but Ethan is someone who I will always remember fondly. I started my career working alongside Ethan. Not only did he show me what worked well for our events in the past, but also what we could do to grow our activities in the future. This year, Ethan is working as our Lead Event Coordinator for weekly trivia nights. He has done an amazing job delegating tasks, managing a modest team of employees, and promoting this program in a unique way. Ethan's positive attitude is one that gets all of our staff energized to work and eager to learn more in our office. I’m grateful to have worked with Ethan and highly recommend him to any company.

Over the last four years, I have had the pleasure of having Ethan in my lacrosse program here at St. Joseph's College. Over these four years, Ethan, like many students, has faced plenty of adversity. Through this adversity, I have seen incredible growth. Ethan was selected as a captain of our lacrosse team during his junior year. A role that was deserving. His strong qualities have been quite evident to his teammates and anyone who has had the chance to work with him. Ethan is responsible, outgoing, committed, manages his time well, and works hard in the classroom. Most importantly, Ethan works hard at becoming a stronger leader. Since his sophomore year, Ethan has been enrolled in our Monks Leadership Program and now as a senior, he is teaching our Freshmen leaders! He is very open to listening to ideas and ways to improve, but more importantly, he has the courage to provide others with feedback, including myself! During his junior year, Ethan was an RA, which was no easy task as we were coming out of the pandemic. He has also held jobs in the Student Engagement office and serves as a peer tutor. Ethan takes initiative and with all these endeavors, he is still a member of our lacrosse program, a peer mentor to some freshmen teammates, and is a triple major! If you are a company or organization looking for someone who is not afraid to take on a challenge, someone who enjoys learning, and someone who is self-motivated, then Ethan Richard will be a top candidate for you!
