Few people have the fortune to work with an individual as passionate about finding, developing, and supporting great talent as Mark Estrada. I met Mark when he was representing one of my key clients, and I was immediately impressed with his collaborative attitude and his ability to turn a problem into a solution. Through his relationship skills and quick follow-up, Mark was one of the key reasons why my company was able to grow the relationship further, and expand the scope of business to the next level. I appreciated the work he did so much - that I hired Mark directly for my company as I was building a workforce development team. Mark immediately elevated our level of engagement and took on very difficult initiatives including developing a diverse high school to college to career pipeline through innovative workforce planning and expanding his outreach beyond the program’s scope. Besides exceeding the program’s expectations, he also elevated the outreach to include individuals with disabilities in order to add another level of diversity to this initiative, along with many other programs. One of Mark’s many strong traits is his ability to work with senior management. Mark is influential by coming to meetings prepared, doing his research, and sets realistic expectations always wanting to maximize the ROI on any proposed initiative. I was always in awe of Mark’s ability to command a room and get people on board with ideas—even managers who were initially on completely different pages. Mark quickly went from being a direct report to a colleague, as he advanced in his career, and influenced many other areas in talent acquisition. During his time at State Street, Mark enhanced the companies branding in the community because of his superior relationship skills, and his ability to connect with all stakeholders at any level. Mark’s networking and coaching skills are envied by many, and beneficial to those who he interacts with daily. I highly recommend Mark for any role that is goal oriented, strategic, and impactful. He is a compassionate leader with a great sense of humor, a joy to work with, and an asset to any team.
