Met veel plezier heb ik met Esther samengewerkt tijdens haar periode bij Woord en Daad waar zij als vrijwilliger heeft gewerkt aan een expertise opdracht. De opdracht richtte zich op Active Learning in ontwikkelingslanden, waar Esther zich met veel enthousiasme en toewijding op stortte. De manier waarop zij te werk ging bij dit onderzoek was diepgrondig en ze maakte het onderwerp zich snel eigen. Hierbij stond zij open voor feedback, wat leuke discussies opleverde. Dit maakte dat het een wederzijds leerproces werd. Ik heb veel geleerd van haar bevindingen en het einddocument is dan ook een interessant visiestuk geworden waar wij als Educatie team op voort kunnen bouwen in de uitdaging om Active Learning wereldwijd, in allerlei verschillende contexten, toe te kunnen passen.
