Rabbi Esther Reed is perhaps one of the best, most experienced, and highly-qualified Jewish professionals on any college campus. I have had the privilege of working with her both as a student and later as a supervisor. When I was a student, she helped me sort out my Jewish identity and find a good baseline for the Jewish life I wanted to live. I was also a student leader during my years on campus and worked with her in that capacity. She helped me navigate the complexities of collaborating with other students as well as grow as a Jewish leader. As my supervisor, she helped me cement many of the fundamental tenets of what it means to work as a rabbi and how to navigate the various challenges of the professional workplace. She has been an amazing mentor to dozens of young professionals and thousands of students. She is sure to enhance and enrich the Jewish life of any young adult. She certainly has with me.
