Successfully developed an online, nationally coordinated matching and placement process for graduate nurses across the 20 DHBs within New Zealand. Liaising with the Ministry of Health and Health Workforce New Zealand to work towards recruiting and placing graduate nurses into Graduate Training Programmes nationwide. This involved developing a single national process to suit 20 DHBs, multiple private nursing employers, 17+ Nursing Schools and 2000+ nursing graduates. This included creating and implementing an online application website and online information portal, travelling nationally to provide education and training presentations to all DHB users and Nursing Students as well as initiating and managing regular steering and governance groups to ensure national oversight of the process. This process was approved and signed-off by DHB Chief Executives in October 2014 and is now the mandatory recruitment programme for all DHBs.
