  As part of my responsibilities I am in charge of the Functional Testing of a java-web-based application and the Production Support for internal / external customers. Some of my activities are writing Functional Specifications and Test Cases based on Business Requirements, performing system, integration, regression and smoke testing in the different instances of the Release Cycle. For System and Integration testing I use SQL Developer and SOAP UI, and for Regression and Smoke testing I use a customized tool for creating automated Test Cases. As part of the bug tracking we use Jira and Sharepoint. In my daily activities I work with the System Analyst and Developers ir order to define and anticipate issues in the application. I also use Remedy as a Support Tracking tool where I receive the Incidents from the customers and give them the steps to solve the issues.   I work with Cacique, a scripting tool powered by “Mercado Libre”. I code using Ruby and the tool run in the back end Selenium Driver to execute the scripts on different configurable browsers. I configure execution suites and run them every day for 2 environments at the same time. Scripts are developed to match with different versions of the same app and validated with new versions released. I contributed to the group with the development of a data base (including a web service and some functions to interact between the scripts and the DB) which is used by all my partners developing for different projects.
