If pictures say a thousand words, and memories are the pictures of our lives, what are the pictures from your special day saying? There is no need to worry about that question as I will constantly think about that question for you throughout the entire event process. With a career built on forming and fostering meaningful relationships, this precedent, professional, career driven leader brings his 20 years of exceptional sales and relationship development experiences spanning across multiple hospitality-driven industries, specializing in memorable large-event planning from concept through execution to the Hit Your Mark Productions® Team. Calling upon expertise gained from nearly a decade of launching high proof spirit brands with the “country’s largest distributor of wine and spirits”, Southern Wine and spirits and the “second largest beverage alcohol distributor” Republic National Distributing Company; and executing memorable events at “the Largest Performing Arts District outside of the Lincoln center in New York”, commonly known as Playhouse Square, puts some of the greatest expertise in the business one-call away from any client’s event. Having a robust knowledge of stagehand rules and the workings of the world of theater, provides an added skillset to navigate a client’s event cost when their event deals with the unique challenges that come with using union labor and/or teamsters to execute their vision, by minimizing wasted labor and maximizing productivity. In addition to serving as the primary point of contact for the client and all vendor/venue partners throughout the event process, as CEO & Director of Event Logistics I also oversee all event contracts, event budgets, and the procurement of support labor to execute an event’s needs. Regardless of the size of a client’s event, it's important to me that Hit Your Mark Productions is made available to all in a way that allows every event vision the opportunity to hit their mark. Palmer Event Solutions primarily worked with non-profit clients, creating support tools to help them execute their festival, “friend-raiser,” fundraiser, or donor appreciation event. Primarily I served as the key point-of-contact for all logistics, graphic designs and print to bring a client’s vision forward; source, contract, and remained the point-of-contact for all production vendors, live entertainment and entertainers, providing constant updates to the venue & valet teams throughout the event process; assisted the client with script writing and timeline creation to make sure any formal program moments work with all catering cues and other vendor transitions; as well as work with security officials/companies prior to attend steering committee meetings to obtain sign offs on event permits on behalf of our client. As a company we focused on events of all types from outdoor festivals to gala’s, multi day business retreats, sponsor luncheons, and 4K runs/walks. Show less

As a member of the Driftwood Group, my primarily role was focused around assisting the blending of the Driftwood team systems into the processes of Playhouse Square. I created within Driftwood a transitional infrastructure for new accounting procedures, building access protocols for catering staff, importing Playhouse Square pricing structure and terminology into Driftwood Caterease software, as well as balancing labor usage between the Driftwood catering and Driftwood concession staffs. In this role all catering events and meeting setups were ran through and executed under my direction. I worked with the concessions team for setup and execution. Show less

Recognized as “The Largest Performing Arts District” outside of New York, my primary role at Playhouse Square was to present the 9 theaters and multiple meeting spaces to potential clients. I was the primary point of contact for all revenue generating spaces considered as non-ticketed events. Additionally, I would work with multiple departments to cost out events for a client and make sure their event concept was achievable within the constraints of a historical theater. A typical client event would entail working with the Programming, Production and Food & Beverage departments to establish logistical processes, all prior to finalizing an initial contract to the prospective client. Upon the execution of the contract, my role would shift to work with the catering companies to approve floor plans to ensure guest safety and a positive venue experience, work with the production companies to keep union labor cost in line with the initial event estimate; as well as stay in contact with any vendors throughout the development process to ensure all elements of a client’s event were received in- and on-time for event day. As a representative of this brokerage firm, my primary job function was to expand business of brands represented within the portfolio in both the off-premise (liquor stores) and on-premise (bars & restaurants) sectors of the Cleveland market. After relationships with accounts were established, I would leverage that relationship to expand brand lines and establish feature pricing to increase consumer call. Ultimately my day-to-day object was to work with accounts to increase purchases, buying new items, and deplete inventory, all in attempts to add profitability to both the venue and the broker.
