The machine has a PLC Control that drives a single-axis robot and a set of pneumatic valves. - Creation of the Manual of Operations of the machine. - Develop tests and feasibility studies to use materials of higher quality and durability, as well as new technological processes or operations. - Problem-solving in the different shops with a scientific approach, documenting, and recording vital information to avoid recurrence in the future. - Cost analysis study to implement the necessary equipment to switch to hydrocarbon refrigerants in our dairy dispensers. - Creation of Spot-Weld Standards. - Design of pneumatic press to control the position and avoid deformations on thick sheet metal parts that are spot welded. - Study of solutions to solve ergonomic issues on different work stations, this study includes the Comparative Cost Analysis from different providers, recommendations of the better solution, the Capital Expenditure Justification Reports and supervision of the installation of the different devices. - Design of a pneumatic press to assemble the dispensers' doors to improve the quality of the bond between the different components and eliminate painstaking manual labor, thus increasing the quality of the door assemblies. - Introduction of the Three Pieces Configuration on the outer bodies of all the legacy dispensers, this project included the design modification of these assemblies and the creation of the manufacturing drawings. This configuration has several advantages to the manufacturing process, these are: 1. Increase the quality and interchangeability of the parts. 2. Improved operation safety 3. Reduction of scrap rate in a huge percent 4. Increase storage capacity. This modification allowed for a bigger output as it freed huge amounts of space in the WIP warehouse. Show less
