  The mission of ArtsKC – Regional Arts Council is to unleash the power of the arts. We accomplish this mission by focusing on three major strategies; increasing funding for the arts and cultural initiatives from diversified and sustainable sources, increasing awareness of the arts and culture and the impact on quality of life issues in our community.And establishing the arts as integral to economic development and other key civic and business initiatives.As Senior Manager, Programs & Services I am responsible for the coordination and development of a number of essential programs and key strategic initiatives of ArtsKC. These programs include the ArtsKC Now Showing program, the Awards Luncheon, and ArtsKC Internship program. In addition to the successful implementation of the above mentioned programs, and their continued growth, I am also responsible for the daily care and coordination of the ArtsKC Gallery, including all aspects of installation, equipment and other inventories.
