I turned my attention to my own business and new pursuits while my former partner continues to host theatre and other events. This position allowed me to expand my reach in sharing best approaches and technologies from different sectors and geographies as well as ways to reshape the infrastructure business that will dramatically improve quality of life from multiple perspectives, including: resilience, smart city transformations, economic development, asset management, natural capital, and cultural engagement. Leading up to that position I was the global Director of Management Consulting (2013-2015), New England Area Manager (2011-2014), and I served in various project management, engineering, and internal management roles, with a focus on water resources management, sustainability, and engineering, from 2000-2013. With a strong background in the water sector, I've helped water utilities develop integrated planning, implement groundbreaking sustainable infrastructure projects, and improve resilience to extreme weather conditions and sea level rise. LUPEC Boston also quickly became the nation's first and most recognized voice and rallying point for professional women in or close to the bartending and restaurant industries. More recently, two founding members published Drinking Like Ladies, a highly acclaimed and list-topping book that celebrates women in history.
