Bio
Karen Scheuerer (she/her)
Hands down, Erin is the best supervisor I have ever had! Having reported to dozens of supervisors in my 30 plus years of work, I can honestly say, Erin is the best! Erin truly cares about the people with whom she works. She's humble, super smart, very hard-working, authentic, and funny. She has an amazing ability to meet each team member where they are (from high achievers to under-performers), support each, and motivate every one individually. She takes the time to build relationships with her team members and identifies the best way that she can support each one most effectively. She advocates for the team and is willing to take on the hard work of navigating bureaucracy or negotiating with challenging colleagues to come to compromise, reach resolutions, and get the work done. I admire Erin tremendously and try to model my own supervisor skills based on what I have learned from her. Erin possesses a natural talent for supervising others, and she also works hard to get it right.
Emily Finnan
The work Erin does on behalf of the Gulf Coast rebuilding is superb. She is thorough, detail-oriented, and always follows through. She does a great job of working with all kinds of people and different groups, mediating as necessary. Rebuilding Together is lucky to have her!
