North American Intern Hack-a-Thon Team Leader
-
May 2019 - Jul 2019
When I participated in the North American Technical Intern Hack-a-Thon, my team and I were within the top percents of finalists within AI/Cognitive Solutions category against over 100 teams across the country. My team's project was to create a virtual reality phone application for Alzheimer's patients to alleviate their daily struggles by utilizing Augmented Reality, IBM Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, and more. In order to virtualize a patient's reminders and facial recognition processes, our team goal was to create a product to to help Alzheimer's patients regain a sense of independence and normalcy and overall improve their quality of life by providing users with virtual assistance, reminders, and facial recognition. In producing our documentation, we utilized IBM's 1-3-9 Core Values to organize our thought process while building our mobile application and formulating our business plan.
