      Currently my role is full time Construction Administration on a higher education performing arts center. The project includes three major venues: a recital hall, black box theater and art gallery, with several other informal performance spaces and associated support for theater, administration and classroom functions. During the design phases I led the design and coordination efforts for the black box theater, performance support and administration components of the building, as well as a PA/PD role for an adjacent historic building being renovated for rehearsal space.Previously I have contributed to multiple projects from SD-CA on projects as diverse as higher ed and hospitality renovations, a health care clinic TI, a 300 bed homeless shelter, a local civic community center, an innovative modular construction affordable housing development and writing an ADA guide for in-house use.       Projects: Lead designer on a renovation of a 1958 motel for use as a temporary emergency shelter in South Lake Union, including accessibility improvements, wayfinding elements and updating the public day use areas. This project involves significant coordination with the Owner's rep, Tenant reps, Contractors, and the City. This project is a part of the Perkins + Will Social Responsibility Initiative. Designer on a Tenant Improvement for a 5,000 sf lab facility in Seattle. The project is composed of biology and chemistry labs, tissue culture, imaging labs and office improvements. Design team on 440' mixed use tower with street level retail, office, residential and multiple amenity levels for downtown Seattle. Primary project responsibility was the design and development of the TI of residential and amenity levels 12-36, including the unit layouts, amenity planning and design, consultant coordination, and code/ADA research and analysis. Specialization: ADA compliance/Universal Design. Projects include designing and developing a resource toolkit to help architects comply with ADA Standards for multifamily housing early in the design process and leading staff training seminars. Tools developed include a Design Guidance booklet, Revit components, detail families and standardized sheets. Member: P+W Seattle Resilience Lab. In 2017 we are presenting an in-house lecture series "Resilient Design 101." In 2016 we won First Place in the Architects Without Borders "Ready to Rumble" competition at the Seattle Design Festival.
