      During my time as marketing representative I handled all advertising, marketing and outside sales.I developed and implemented a marketing plan that tripled our sod sales in two years and eventually strained the farms production capacity to keep up with orders. I was then charged with managing the everyday production of our family sod operation and expanding the turf operation, including the licensing of new turf varieties. During my time with the BCGCBB I directed and planned the first annual Richard Dale Pumphrey Tennis Tournament, which raised $10,000. I helped plan the Annual Kidz Soiree and arranged for Mr. Ted Turner to be our keynote speaker. I expanded the awareness and the importance of providing a safe and educational environment for children. I was hired part time to help fundraise for the Big Bend area.
