Erin was not only my colleague, but my mentor while I was at Anderson-Shiro. Erin was able to communicate with me in a way that allowed me to not only grow professionally, but motivated me to be the best teacher that I could be. I felt like he understood me, and I trusted him as my leader. As principal, Erin led in a manner that always challenged the status quo and was able to achieve results beyond what was expected of him. He was very focused in that we all knew that students always came first and that his efforts would always be to ensure that the students' best interests would come first, no matter what. Erin was not only respected, but also liked by the staff which is not easily achieved. I feel that the time I spent with Erin was invaluable and I am very thankful to have had the opportunity to work with him. If ever given the chance, I would definitely work with him again.
