During my time as a freelancer, I continued to design packaging and print materials in the beverage/alcohol, CPG, and tech space. I also design and produce social media marketing and have started using Adobe Dimension for creating 3D product mock ups. Also during this time, I sharpened my soft skills such as project coordination, time management, prepping files for final distribution, and budgeting for the client. My role at Amplify Snack Brands was largely a packaging for CPG-focused position. I worked under the senior designer and help maintain the brand and future designs. I worked on everything from ready-to-eat product units to floor displays and pallets. My work during this time was featured on TheDieline.com for my design refresh of the Paqui One Chip Challenge box: http://www.thedieline.com/blog/2017/10/31/paqui My role at Amplify Snack Brands was largely a packaging for CPG-focused position. While at Apple, I worked as part of the Localization team. I helped collect and organize images from the Mac and iOS interface, which requires a lot of problem solving, scheduling, organizing, and working with Photoshop. I also helped manage workflow with our contractors by overseeing their production, quality-checking their work, and sending the finalized projects to our team members offsite. I also got to work on in-house design materials such as team identity design, email templates, and score card design. Show less

As part of team, I collaborated with other designers to design collateral, campaigns, and production work for a variety of clients. I communicated with clients and vendors and acted as lead designer on several projects. Under the Creative Director here at Griffin, I created books, brochures, logos, packaging, social media campaigns, and web banners. At Wholesome, I was the only in-house designer for the company. It was my job to oversee almost every aspect of collateral, packaging, advertising, and in-house materials. The biggest aspect of my job was designing packaging for new products as well as updating existing packaging to maintain continuity while still following FDA requirements. The second biggest part of my job was to design annual ad campaigns for magazines like Real Simple and Better Foods and Gardens, and to produce the ads in multiple sizes depending on the magazine. Other responsibilities included designing promotional materials such a s recipe books and brochures, designing new trade show booths and materials, working directly with printers and vendors, maintaining in-house sales sheets, photographing products, and updating and maintaining the product image library.
