  As a long-term substitute in this position as an Intervention Specialist teaching remotely, I have been providing kindergarten students, who have special learning needs, with appropriate lessons and activities based on their annual IEP goals. I have become familiar with the students through their IEP profiles, the Seesaw app used to communicate with them, Google Meets and collaborating with the grade level and IEP teams who know these students best. I continue to Maintain data tracking forms for each of the 13 students in my caseload in an effort to continue upholding their IEP goals. In this role, I take part in weekly meetings with grade-level teams and special education teams to support the students and their families in any way necessary during the school shut down. During the stay at home order, I developed hard copy packets for each student, including worksheets, visual aids, and manipulatives to assist the students with their continued learning.

  As an Educational Aide, I assist multiple students, grades K-3, in a self-contained classroom. In this environment, I work in small groups or in one on one academic settings with children who have a variety of learning and behavioral disabilities.
