Dear reader, I have the unfair advantage over you, of having worked with and been a friend of Erin for nearly 30 years. That much time can blur together, but let me tell you - there is no blur with Erin - she is exceptional. Let me use this opportunity to share the things that stand out. LinkedIn tends to focus on skill, which Erin has aplenty, but I'm going to spend equal or more time on character. 1) She says what she'll do, and does what she says. The older I get, the more I appreciate this. It's a true virtue of character. It is at the core of integrity and trust. As a business owner, it is one of the first things I look for. Give someone a task they can be faithful in, and see what they do. With Erin, there is no doubt it will get done promptly, and it will likely get done better than what you imagined. This may seem small, but as the saying goes "faithful with little, entrusted with much", and for this reason this trait has probably been a large reason she promotes in any role she's had in life. 2) She is a leader who also knows how to serve. The word "leader" gets thrown around a lot, but you know one when you see that person serving, not just giving orders. 3) She leads with compassion. Simply put, she cares about people. So many people care with their words, but Erin cares with her actions. Erin is very administratively strong, but more importantly, she is tuned in to the people she works with and those she leads, often developing very genuine, lasting relationships. 4) She can sell. The person who needs to be trained to sell is always needing more maintenance, but Erin is born with a gift to sell. Selling comes naturally to her, and she does it effectively no matter what environment she's in. 5) Erin is very creative. This not only applies to physically designing things that are appealing (logos, slogans, art, interiors, etc), but it also applies to creativity in how vision is shared, how to implement strategy, how to from effective teams, for example. 6) She is flexible. "Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be broken". Erin is a master at taking changing, or even deteriorating situations and turning them into blessings. Often times when working with Erin in changing environments, I am more pleased with the outcome than I would have been if the original plan had worked out. 7) She is humble and teachable. Oftentimes I eat my favorite part of the meal last. So, perhaps that's why I saved this character trait for last, as it is my favorite one and the single first one I look for in people. So, if you're a lifelong learner, you probably read this far, and can appreciate it too! Erin is teachable because she is a lifelong learner. She has a natural curiosity, coupled with learning discipline. For this reason she is always reading, asking questions, quietly observing, and trying new things to see how they work. So, there's 30 years. I hope this helps you if you're looking to start Year 1 with Erin. Blessings! Jason

Marketing is communications. Everybody talks, my goal is to give them something to talk about. (Bonus points if you can start singing the two songs I just mashed in that statement!) I love having fun, learning about new ideas, new products, new experiences and helping others do that same . Joie de vivre is what the French call it. Hope we can swap some good stories and ideas soon.

Cultivated long term relationships with businesses and non-profits. Cast off the preconceived notion that men work with car companies, sports organizations and breweries and used my finesse to develop unique marketing platforms. I also bent over backwards to find new and fresh ways for clients to get noticed in the pages of the magazine and thereby gained their trust and long term contracts.
