  I helped the owner of Paper Parasol Press, Cindy Tomczyk, in her daily letterpress greeting card printing business. I helped her print large orders, get them ready for delivery to customers, and verify the order is complete. She showed me how her studio was ran and how she operates her very busy "one man" card creating business. This experience showed me how much truly goes into having your own design business. In this case, from the original sketch to the design, then the photo polymer plate to print with, and then all the important steps that get the card to the customer and occasion it was made for.
