  As the Assistant Manager I manage the restaurant when the General Manager is away. Greet customers, take orders, and work cash register as needed while providing supervision to employees. I open and close the restaurant, provide leadership by creating enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude and commitment toward – Company objectives; create an encore work environment. I order and control inventory by forecasting and analyzing past data: food, beverage, and supplies. I lead Shifts and thoroughly know how to perform the job for each position - fill positions when short-staffed. Perform office duties including counting cash drawers, payroll management, preparation of reports, completing charts and logs, managing employee shift changes. I monitor the standard of food that is produced by the kitchen so that the customer always receives the best quality that Zaxby’s can produce. Team members and staff are also under my control with the hiring, discipline, training and even firing if so required.
