Working as ConcernCenter’s AWS PDM at Carahsoft has been an incredible experience. Erin, Ted, Gage, and the ConcernCenter team are truly incredible individuals inside and out. They strive to not only exercise every outlet to scale their business, but they do it all with grace and their utmost best effort, at an unbelievably efficient pace. Erin’s detail-oriented, kind-heart, and mission to make the world a better place with ConcernCenter will indeed, have a major positive impact on the world as we know it. After having the honor to work closely with this team, I am highly confident ConcernCenter will not only scale and expand, but it help infinite individuals across the planet get the help they need with the resources only ConcernCenter strives to deliver.

I had the pleasure of working with Erin at the University of Rochester. We worked especially close together during the years of 2011 to 2015 during which time she directed the University of a Rochester’s CARE Network. This network became a vital tool to support and retain students and I found her partnership to be incredibly valuable as we spent many evenings trying to figure out how to better serve the students and the college, by identifying and supporting students who found themselves in various kinds of distress. Erin did more than just coordinate these efforts, she invented the CARE Network as we came to know it the University of Rochester. There had been an organized effort to support students in distress prior to Erin’s involvement, but she turned that effort into a well marketed, trusted, online, cross campus tool that was used by faculty, staff, and students alike. I learned a lot in those years that I had the pleasure of working with Erin. Together we learned to navigate the various administrative silos that exist across student affairs and academic affairs at most institutions of higher education and the students benefited greatly from those efforts. The colleges retention rate increased steadily during those years and the CARE Network was an integral and primary part of those efforts. Erin is incredibly accomplished, as I’ve described above. What makes her truly special, though, is her ability to authentically walk in others shoes in order to understand people in deep and meaningful ways and having the creativity and intellect to design systems to support people with complex and diverse needs. She excels in these efforts one a one on one basis, or within a larger community. Erin is one of the most empathetic, hard working, and creatively kind people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.

ConcernCenter is a tool, used by colleges, K-12 districts and companies and businesses, that allows individuals to search for resources on- and off-site simply by indicating their concern. For example, “stress”, “depression”, “bullying”, “addiction”, "elder care", "harassment" and other customized concerns can be selected, resulting in a populated list of primary and related resources that can help. ConcernCenter is cost-effective and fully customizable to any setting. It is also ADA compliant. www.concerncenter.com Show less
