In my 20 years working as a Guide and Head of School, I have had the pleasure of knowing/working with four "natural Montessorians", and Erin is one of those four. She understands deeply, and exhibits, the philosophy of Montessori in her ways with children, their parents, and other staff. Her kindness, integrity, and willingness to learn about herself through teaching, is unique and a great model for others. As her supervisor I was impressed with her dedication to any task, whether in the classroom, at parent/teacher conferences, or working in the school office. Her respect and love for the children was always balanced with giving needed space for their own natural development and drive towards independence. She is a joy to work with and would be a strong asset to any Montessori Program.
