Developed nature and arts-based curriculum, oversaw selection of participants and adult mentors, booked travel, and led local and national excursions for up to 26 high school students. Organized and managed annual events of up to 300 people such as the Cultural Education Expo, Cato Excellence in Teaching Awards Reception, and Studio 345 Journeys orientation and celebration programs.Managed annual Cato Excellence in Teaching Awards: Solicitated nominees, oversaw finalist selection, recruited and led selection panel, and planned award presentation.Created and managed a $10,000 professional development scholarship fund for educators in Mecklenburg County.
