Erin worked with me for a few years as a senior software developer. I found him very productive and eager to architect solutions when called for. Erin also had to interact with 3rd parties for interface work and communicated with them very well. Although mostly working on stand-alone projects, he fared very well when his contributions had to harmonize with other team members work. Erin proved to be a solid software engineer.

I have known Erin since we worked together from 2000 to 2003 at Manhattan Associates as software engineers. As part of the product development team, we helped build the company's flagship supply-chain execution solution - PkMS, a distributed and scalable software product which utilized Microsoft web technologies and supported multiple relational databases, such as DB2, SQL Server and Oracle. Erin immediately made an impact at Manhattan Associates by completing an in-house COM-CORBA bridge solution in C++ that saved the company over a million dollars annually by eliminating the need to license a third-party library. He also demonstrated his design creativity by architecting a solution for an extremely complex user requirement with an external Javascript consultant and developed a novel HTML treeview user interface incorporating XML data islands for data persistence and using XSL stylesheets for presentation. As part of the PkMS Web UI team, Erin was tasked with developing custom software for important clients such as Dell Inc. and MaryKay Cosmetics while orchestrating software development efforts with a team of programmers in India. As the company migrated to a 24/7 development shop with teams in the U.S. as well as in India, Erin was entrusted with the critical responsibility of overseeing the daily software development build; ensuring a functioning executable was available for the U.S. team each morning prior to starting work which entailed many 1 a.m. morning ‘patches’ to fix broken code check-ins. Our team efforts were rewarded with software licensing revenue of over sixty million annually after the first 18 months of development. This became the largest single source of software revenue for Manhattan Associates, a company of 650 employees globally at the time – something we are both proud of! Erin’s interest are not just limited to software development activities but encompassed team-building and social activities while employed at Manhattan Associates. As an avid soccer player and sports enthusiast, Erin recognized the soccer talent in our multi-national corporation and approached company HR for sponsoring a recreational soccer team as the company already had sanctioned softball and basketball teams. As co-captain and player on the Manhattan Associates co-ed recreational soccer team, his efforts were rewarded with two championships. Our company was proud of the success of our highly diverse and interdepartmental team in an extremely competitive Atlanta soccer community. As Manhattan Associates expanded its business into European markets requiring ISO-9001 certification, Erin answered the company-wide call out for a handful of volunteers to train and serve as ISO-9001 internal auditors; moving our company towards ISO-9001 certification. Erin worked for a team that reported to the CEO and executive team and they achieved certification for the company upon first application.
