- Effectively automate tedious team processes or tasks that require significant resources - Consult various teams to identify projects that require automation: conduct a cost-benefit analysis using estimated time saved, number of people impacted, and financial savings to prioritize each requested project; create a recommendation list for executive approval- Craft monthly executive reports, PowerPoint presentations, and data visualizations based on various stakeholder updatesAccomplishments:- Created an Excel program in VBA that makes a monthly scorecard showing all activity reported to the bank's incident reporting center: separated regional reporting, trending month-over-month, and visuals for monthly presentations - Quality Assurance (QA) Dashboards: created forms for managers to track all employees' QA scores; and generated an Executive dashboard aggregating each team's QA scores - Third-party Vendor Questionnaire: created a password-protected, comprehensive (over 100 questions) and dynamic Excel form to send to TD's vendors to evaluate their security/fraud risk. Wrote logical VBA scripts to continually update the form's structure based on vendor's responses, which would then show or hide questions as required- TD's Corporate Security Clearance Data Master List and Forms: Automated a previously manual and error-prone process by creating new joint Excel and Outlook Macros, to process to collect, store, and update security clearance data from all TD corporate locations across Canada. Using macros, this new workbook enables both data input (from various disparate sources) and automated export of data in a completed form and email- Vendor Invoice Validation Macro-enabled Template: Created a template that reconciles vendor invoices and flags errors (e.g. invoices for services not rendered) to be further researched- Create Access Databases linked to SharePoint to maximize sharing ability and facilitate real-time updates

First Co-op- Work with American counterparts to coordinate settling severely outstanding payments to US vendors- Fix broken processes to ensure these issues don't happen again in the futureAccomplishments- Automated a previously manual invoicing process (i.e. transferring data from PDF invoices to Excel), effectively speeding up the invoice reconciliation process by 500%.- Cleared six months of backlogged invoices in two months; automated process could do this is seconds, versus the six months. Since implementation, invoice payments are up-to-dateSecond Co-op- Insecure/Unarmed Branches Cost-savings Project: led the project by analyzing data from various sources to find the cause of a common error involving multiple external and internal stakeholders; if unarmed/insecure branch was due to vendors, TD would then claw-back costs- Created a program using VBA to filter and link quantitative and qualitative data, then created a daily visual report using the linked data- Wrote Executive briefing notes describing the issue and recommendations for resolution- Create presentations for each vendor outlining the results, explaining their involvement in the errors with the goal of clawing-back costs
