This was my first full-time position at VCUarts after I graduated. My responsibilities shifted as the needs of the admissions office changed. Most of my time throughout those three years was spent answering application questions from prospective students via phone and email.The second largest task was preparing applications for review by processing admissions documents such as transcripts, reference letters and portfolios. I also spent time on recruitment trips at National Portfolio Day events meeting with students, as well at on campus events such as Open Houses.Some of my duties from this position such as creating email blasts and strategic planning to target for recruiting have carried over into my current position.
