Staff Attorney - Domestic Violence and Family Law Advocacy Project
-
Mar 2020 - Present
As a staff attorney with Queens Legal Services Domestic Violence and Family Law Advocacy Project I provide legal and support services to survivors of intimate partner violence and Queens residents with family legal matters pending in Queens courts. I provide advice and representation in family offense, custody, support and divorce matters in the Family Court, Supreme Court and the Integrated Domestic Violence Court. The project utilizes an interdisciplinary legal-social work model to service clients in crisis in a holistic and trauma informed manner. I also collaborate on policy matters and survivor support with other NYC domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy organizations.
