  I led an earth architecture workshop to design and build a dormitory for a new rural vocational school in Gambia, using earth and other local materials. We worked in a mixed group of international volunteers and local workers and knowledge sharing was a key aspect of the project. I was in charge of everything from finding volunteers and finances to developing the design, supervising the construction and managing local workers.

  This was an internship with an NGO that works with poverty alleviation in indigenous communities. I worked with the shelter program that improves housing conditions and builds community infrastructure. I assisted with plans, 3D models, presentations and site visits. I also worked with improving the sustainability of the shelter program.
