2nd Line on-site support. Providing end users with hands-on support that the 1st line support cannot solve via remote tools and standardised procedures. Also managing day-to-day backend activities such as preparation of equipment, deploying Windows images to computers and resolving users' problems with their IT-equipment. Most interestingly, however, was that I was responsible for developing and maintaining the front-end scripts used in the environment. Essentially, this meant modifying XML-documents and writing PowerShell scripts. The whole development cycle from development, testing and QA to final deployment to the production environment was done by me.

Worked with support given to a large public actor in Stockholm. Well over a hundred systems were used by the clients which made it crucial to adopt a methodical and structured work approach. Concretely, the work involved solving user's IT-related problems in coordination with resolver groups. Simpler issues were resolved on first contact. The support was given via chat, email and telephone. Many applications that were supported were run via Citrix, which Tieto supported for the end user company.

Previously worked on a Swedish / English first line support. The account was one of IBM Ireland's highest volume accounts. Certainly the most high volume Swedish account. My work contained handling tickets with agreed upon SLA's, making sure the ticket queue is in order and work delegation between agents.The support that was given was both for hardware as well as software issues. Network issues are diagnosed and analysed and then sent to resolver teams for further investigation. There also are administrative tasks involved, like user administration and asset management through SCCM and Active Directory.The work has given me substantial and wide knowledge of almost all roles that a 1st line support line entails, such as dispatcher, working with emails and calls and quality assurance of the support given by the agents. It also involved task delegation to other agents and teaching new agents.
