  As a Lead Network Architect, I designed the Lake County network (with 600 servers) serving 3000+ users across 35+ remote locations. I drove system-wide SNMP network monitoring for immediate outage alerting. I realigned WAN layout which maximized network bandwidth and reduced number of choke points. I led centralized syslog installation that improved security log analysis for all network equipment. My key achievements for this role:► Built active disaster recovery/co-location site as well as upgraded server backbone to 10GB Cisco Nexus 5548 and 6509 VSS redundant core.► Advanced primary firewall to a highly available redundant Cisco ASA solution. ► Simplified storage provisioning and management for virtual machines by designing VMware/SAN environment.► Managed maintenance of 50+ SQL servers.
