Design and managing of democracy building projects together with Silc’s partners (mostly political parties and their youth organisations) in Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cuba, Guatemala, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, Ukraine and others. Emphasis was put on creating project methodologies which would enhance the independence and sustainability of the organisations. Creating networks for our partners in the Swedish and European political sphere.Creating PR-campaigns and writing multiple articles to change the Swedish government’s democracy promotion work; change the government’s policy towards Cuba; bring media attention to the situation of Dawit Isaak (a Swedish journalist and prisoner of conscience imprisoned in Eritrea since 2001); and bring attention to the challenges of democratization in the above mentioned countries. Managing the publishing house Silc Press, which published twelve well acclaimed books 2002 thru 2006.Design and implementation of a cooperation project with six Swedish party affiliated organisations and INGEP at the Rafael Landivar University in Guatemala City.As Secretary General I managed the expansion of Silc from one to five employees in four years, and was accountable to the board and the financiers for all the activities and projects of the foundation.
