Bio
Ashkan Namousi
Erik and I collaborated within a project that required some specialist testing from his side. Based on that experience, I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again. He was very service-minded: quick to respond to any inquiries, doing his best to fit us into his schedule, providing quick and thorough results and answering any questions. Three things stood out to me in particular: (1) That I could rely on him to communicate with third parties without the need for middle-men. This was thanks to his structured and thorough way of summarizing the situation and providing all relevant details, while maintaining a good and diplomatic language. (2) His technical knowledge was a big time-saver, since he could analyze results and figure out their causes, taking us a step closer to a solution instead of merely delivering findings. (3) Whenever we collaborated on something, he dove in head-first. Everything happened quickly and progressed at high speend and with good results. It was simply fun to work in that kind of environment, where we felt like a rapid and results-driven team.

I have been working as Eriks manager for over 6 years. First he was an intern, and as soon as I had a possibility I employed him as a QA tester. That work title is slightly misleading, since his responsibilities went well beyond testing. Among other things he has been project coordinator (a title known in other companies as QA Producer) for several projects, which involved QA planning, outsourcing, evaluating milestones and documentation. Since he has programming knowledge, he became our goto person for all technical testing (E. G testing databases). Later he also took on tasks as setting up routines for narrative testing. Erik is a person with the broadest range of different abilities. He was a Jack of all trades and a great addition to our QA team. I can highly recommend Erik, both as a QA and for other tasks within the gaming industry. I wish him the best of luck and hope to have a pleasure to work with him in the future.
