  Familiar with the industry standards as far as tube tolerances, inner diameter, outer diameter•Work with micrometers on a daily basis. Measuring tube specs to ensure they meet or exceed our customers needs•Familiar with high frequency welding, electrode welding, gas welding and learning mig/tig welding •Being a mill operator comes with various tasks and responsibilities. I have a ten person crew that reports to me. When something goes wrong on the mill we must all work together to figure out why it happened, how it happened, how could it have been prevented in the first place but, mainly, come up with a plan to remedy the situation and implement the plan as quickly and safely as possible. Downtime = loss of revenue for the company.•I was hired on as an operator because of my past experience. I was put under the mandatory 2 month operator training but after two and a half weeks they gave me my own mill to operate mysef.•I am very easily trainable, I learn quick and I retain the info that I am trained on.
