  Professional Career: Start of professional career in 1982 in the pharmaceutical industry as ‘product specialist’ for the company Zyma Galen (Novartis). In 1984 appointed ‘product line specialist’ for Serono Belgium, a biotechnology company active in the field of human reproduction and embryology. In this capacity stood figuratively at the cradle of the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) founded by Prof Edwards who successfully pioneered conception through IVF, which led to the birth of the first so-called ‘test tube baby’ Louise Brown. In 1989 switch to the ‘Health & Safety’ industry as managing director for Variphone Benelux, a start-up company introducing customized hearing protection into occupational settings. Since 2003 active as business development manager for HearingCoach International, a key-player in health surveillance programs and leading in the field of OAE-applications for the early detection of ototoxic hearing damage. Specialized in organizing, implementing and evaluating ‘multidisciplinary’ Hearing Conservation Programs (HCP) comprising; awareness campaigns, noise measurements, risk assessment, hearing protection, audiometric evaluation and instructional counselling (coaching).
