I learned the basics of the psychology of dealing with people, the principles of sales, setting the right (positive) mindset and other things that I know I want and will develop throughout my life. Over time, I led my team to learn how to sell, motivate and control. This was aided by my supervisor, daily workshops and meetings where these skills were practiced. In hindsight, it was perhaps more of a play-acting manager and was primarily about selling while maintaining a moral and ethical code, which was rather unique in this industry from my perspective.
